![]() ![]() Think of an intelligent duelist or tactician, that knows the enemies moves before they even do them.įinally, I'd like to thank two of the creators of this subreddit that I took inspiration from. The Warblade is an intelligent fighter, who has learned the arts of war. The most 'magical' of the 3 classes, the swordsage can turn invisible for a few crucial moments, light their weapon aflame, or even teleport short distances. The Swordsage is a monk-like warrior, who through mediation, learned how replicate some magical abilities through their martial maneuvers. This blessing gives them supernatural speed, strength, and endurance, but no spellcasting. The Crusader is a holy warrior that gets his abilities from their God's Blessing. These stances can have many different abilities, ranging from extra speed, jump distance, or even bonus damage. In addition, they have Stances that they can change between as a Bonus Action. It is similar to a warlock in that all of their Slots are of their highest level, and they get them back on a Short Rest. Secondly, I did change the flavor a bit of the classes, to make them more appealing (to me at least lol), and distinct from options that are already available.įor those who haven't read it yet, all 3 classes have pseudo-spellcasting, where they use "Technique Slots" to perform "Techniques". ![]() 3.5 didn't exactly splurge when making abilities, and a number of the ones they did, don't work in 5th editions design space (lots of little +1 bonuses and stuff). Firstly, I had to make a lot of abilities for these guys. Though keep in mind, I did change a number of things when moving to 5th edition. I chose to do this because I wanted to make a martial character that had the same level of complexity and options that spellcasters have, and the Tome of Battle pretty much did that. I will stop the rambling and get on with the guide since it will quite a long one.So this is my attempt at converting the 3.5 Tome of Battle to 5th edition. Feel free to mention if I made any mistakes! I know there are different ways to progress the game and feel free to do that if you want to just keep in mind that I used a specific boss list for the guide. I did not include some seasonal weapons that can be obtained only during Christmas or Halloween as well as some weapons that are part of developer sets. The weapons are not listed in any specific order Rare weapons have a (R) besides them and legendary weapons have a (L) This is the boss list I used to write the guide which I consider to be a good order in which you should face the bosses and progress the game: The guide lists all the melee weapons available in the current Calamity mod (v1.4.5.7) and Terraria (v1.3.5.3) in the order you can obtain them before the next available boss. So, this guide is of course aimed to aid everybody in their hunt of completion. Hello everybody! Before I start, I would like to thank the developers of this amazing mod for the hundreds of hours of entertainment they provided me with all the amazing content it has.Īs a bit of backstory for myself, I'm very big on 100%ing a game and I always like to experience all the content of the game and I'm sure there are many more people just like that. ![]()
